This third novel is a change for me, working solely with a single Point of View character, with narrative, and its looking to be an epic saga.
The main problem with the November drafts was after a hiatus of 3 years on it, I'd forgotten the full cast names. Just before putting it on hold, I did some name investigation through my Chinese dictionary. Then I went off to Antarctica.
Is it easy to return to a story set aside?
For me, yes, I've never really set it aside, it's always in the background with much of my reading going to support the story. The research ends up providing setting, action, conflict, science and the scientific method at work.
