Over the weekend I managed to get a scene in my manuscript written and a one page review written but I quickly ran into some organizational problems. I started a second scene yesterday but realized I was doing a lot of work remembering who was what age when a given event happened. So I built a simple family tree and developed a rough take on a timeline. I have calendar data to flesh out much of the timeline to make it more concrete.
Today, I am working on the problem of what to do with my poetry and I decided to streamline my files for greater flexibility. I have them spread over several directories so consolidation and inventory will go a long way toward keeping control. I need to do the same for my articles in progress and stories in progress. I did managed to reduce my mail box contents from 5500 messages down to 300.
